Statutory responsibility to develop and disseminate information at home and abroad about the Government of Liberia.

In addition to information dissemination, its core functions promote people-friendly Cultural and Tourism activities through institutions such as the National Museum, which is the custodian of Historical Artifacts, as well as Cultural Villages and the historical Providence Island.

This report covers activities of the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) for the period January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015, for four programs areas including:

B. Cultural Affairs and Tourism
C. Foreign Missions
D. Administration/ Management
The Ministry underwent several changes, key among which was the dissolution of the Technical Services Department and the Office of the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism.
