MONROVIA, September 11(LINA) -The General Auditing Commission (GAC) has disclosed the completion of the audit of some government ministries and agencies covering periods from Fiscal Years 2006 to 2013.

The GAC named the institutions as the Ministry of Public Works and the University of Liberia for Fiscal Years 2009/2010 through 2011/2012.

GAC made the disclosure in a communication dated August 11, 2014 addressed to the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives, Mildred Sayon, the Liberia News Agency (LINA) said.

According to the Communication signed by Auditor General Yusador S. Gaye, the GAC has also completed the audit of the Independent National Commission On Human Rights for Fiscal Years 2006/2007 through 2012/2013.

In the letter read on Thursday during the 4th Day Sitting of the Extraordinary Session of the House of Representatives, the GAC further narrated that it has completed the audit of the LEITI Reporting Template Agreed Upon Procedure for Fiscal Year 2011/2012.
