Ziankahn said, the AFL has been intervening in community where their roads are bad adding that the selection of Kebbah is not because the Defense Minister lives there as been speculated but rather the bad condition of the road.
“We have been constructing roads in Gbarnga, we are not constructing this road because the Defense Minister is living here,” Ziankahn said. “It is just a coincidence.”
Ziankahn said, the rehabilitation work been carry out by the military could cost the government over 100,000USD adding that it is done far lesser than actual amount.
“If you are to contract this out, you will know how much it will cost, we are making use out of our meager resources to fix this road,” Ziankahn said.
The Liberian Chief of Staff said, his engineering team has been constructing ETUs and roads leading to ETUs across the country.
He said, the equipment currently been used by his team was giving to the military by the People Republic of China.
The Assistant Minister for Public Affairs Ministry of Defense David Dahn said, the military usually intervene where need arises.

“This is what the army does; the military give you maximum output. The ministry of Public Works is the lead agent what the military does is just to intervene,” Dahn said.
