Monrovia, May 12 – The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Associate Administrator Eric Postel will visit Liberia May 13-16, 2015. His trip, part of a three-country tour that will take him to Guinea and Sierra Leone, will focus on USAID’s development assistance supporting post-Ebola recovery efforts in West Africa.

On Saturday, May 9, Liberia will be declared Ebola free. The Government is grateful to God for His continuous blessings upon our nation. We are also thankful to all of our people for their faith, prayers, support, hard work and perseverance which have made this declaration possible. And we are grateful to our many friends and partners for standing with the Liberian Government and people as well as for their invaluable assistance and support as we, together, fought this deadly disease.
