ROBERTSPORT, November 29 (LINA) - Sustainable Livelihood Promoter Program (SLPP) is conducting a two-day Psycho-Social Training of Trainers’ workshop in Vonzua, Garwula District, Grand Cape Mount County.

Speaking at the start of the workshop, SLPP Grand Cape Mount Ebola Response Project Coordinator Joseph Benoit said the workshop is intended to train citizens in Ebola awareness and prevention so that they can in return train others.

Benoit called on citizens of the county to observe all the preventive measures outlined by health authorities to avoid the spread of the disease.

He said the virus can only be prevented when the citizens are prepared to adequately observe and follow all regulations laid down by healthcare workers in the various communities across the county.

The SLPP official disclosed to the Liberia News Agency that the workshop is being sponsored by an international non-governmental organization, Finn Church Aid (FCA) based in Finland.

The workshop brought together 30 participants from six communities in Vonzua, Sinje, Bendu, Madina, Sanjanamalor and Mani.
