MONROVIA, December 31(LINA) - A faith-based group in the Robertsfield Highway community known as “Women of Praise” Wednesday presented several non-food items to patients at the TB Annex in the Monrovia suburb of Congo Town.

The items include one carton of powder soap, one carton of toothpaste, one carton of washing soap, one carton of sanitizer and one carton of toothbrush valued over US$500.
Presenting the items, the founder and president of the “Women of Praise”, Mrs. Sangay A. Megee, lauded health workers at the TB Annex for their continued commitment to serving the Liberian people.

She said it is a tradition for their group to reach out to the less fortunate people in the society and also offer prayers for them at a time like this.

Receiving the items on behalf of the TB Annex, Nursing Director Martha Geian commended the “Women of Praise” for their kind gesture and appealed to other people of goodwill to emulate the example of the group.
