HARPER, October 22 (LINA) -The newly-assigned Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization (BIN) Commander in Maryland County, Col. Regional Moore, has challenged BIN and other security officers to uphold their statutory duty to secure the borders of Liberia.

He said this was even more imperative as the nation goes through “the bitter experience of Ebola” and in order to break the chain of transmission of the disease.

The newly-assigned BIN Commander was speaking Monday in Harper when he took over from his predecessor, Col. William Kotia, who now moves to Barclayville, Grand Kru County as Commander.

Col. Moore assured that commitment to service to the country will be the hallmark of his administration.

He commended the staff of the Maryland BIN detachment for their hard work over the years, and urged them to work harder to improve the security situation in Maryland County.
