MONROVIA, September 23 (LINA) - Members of the House of Representatives have unanimously cast a vote of no confidence in the Superintendent of Nimba County, Fong Zuagele and his Assistant Teko Yorley for “gross disrespect”.

Speaker J. Alexander Tyler has accordingly mandated the House’s Chief Clerk, Mildred Sayon, to communicate plenary’s decision to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf informing her that the lawmakers can no longer work with the two men.

The House reached the decision on Tuesday during the 6th Day Sitting of its Extraordinary Session following almost four hours of investigation into a complaint filed against the Superintendent and his Assistant by the Nimba County Legislative Caucus, the Liberia News Agency reports.

The Superintendent and his Deputy were accused of raining insults on the county’s Legislative Caucus and the National Legislature as a whole.
