DEA Sends Four To Court Over Narcotics Possession

MONROVIA, October 29 (LINA) – The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has arrested and sent to court four persons for unlawful possession and sale of narcotic drugs valued at L$21,300.

 

Bai Kandakai, Hawa Kandakai, Morris Kandakai and Zarzar Cooper were arrested by DEA officers in Congo Town on October 24 following a tip-off, according to court records.

They were allegedly found in possession of 71 wraps of heroin weighing 21.0 kilograms, a visa card and other documents, the records showed.

The four accused are currently detained at the Monrovia Central Prison awaiting trial at the Monrovia City Court.
