GBARNGA, December 4 (LINA) – Region Five of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) has began validation of beneficiaries in Bong and Lofa Counties.
NASSCORP Region Five Director, J. Levalah Massaquoi, told the Liberia News Agency in Gbarnga on Tuesday that the exercise which is carried out every two years is intended to acquaint management with the status of beneficiaries to enable it make appropriate benefits to them.
Massaquoi indicated that as part of the entity’s decentralization policy, photos and relevant information compiled by the regional office in Gbarnga will be sent to its national office in Monrovia for processing.
He emphasized the need for beneficiaries to make use of the opportunity as they run the risk of being denied following the close of the process.
Since the inception of the Unity Party led government in 2006, NASSCORP has decentralized several of its processes making it easily accessible to beneficiaries, many of whom now have easy access to their benefits.
