VOINJAMA, December 4 (LINA) -The National Transit Authority (NTA) will extend its services to Lofa County, Superintendent George Dunor has disclosed.

He told a recent press conference in Voinjama that the decision was made by NTA after six months of talks between the management and Lofa County authorities for the NTA services to reach the county.

Dunor said NTA has completed its  assessment and will begin phase one of an agreement on December 15, covering the route from Monrovia to Salayea, Zorzor and Voinjama and the return leg.

Dunor said the decision by both parties is intended to boost transport activities in the country and to reduce the high cost of transportation for citizens and other residents of county, including business people.
