According to report, the girl, 16, fled with her mother from Guinea to Area “K” in Yekepa a week ago, after showing signs and symptoms of the virus in the neighboring Guinean Town.

Meanwhile, The head of the County Health Team, Dr. Collins Boah, disclosed that the Ebola Contact Tracing Team has quarantined 58 persons residing in Area “K” in Yekepa where Janet lived before being taken to the Ganta ETU.

At the same time, according to Karnue, the local government is appealing to the Liberia National Police (LNP) and the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization (BIN) to reinforce border security measures to stop escapees entering into the county illegally.
