ROBERTSPORT, November 26 (LINA) – House Speaker Alex Tyler has urged Liberians to be focused and farsighted when they vote in the upcoming midterm senatorial election.

Tyler made the statement on Tuesday in Robertsport when he escorted Unity Party senatorial aspirant Counselor Varney Sherman to Grand Cape Mount County where he is vying for the senatorial seat.

He said peace, unity and development can be promoted when farsighted individuals are elected to the National Legislature.

Tyler also noted that Liberia needs people of wisdom and integrity to join the National Legislature to help design the reconstruction and reconciliation agenda for the betterment of the country and its people.

Also accompanying Cllr. Sherman were Representatives Edwin Snowe, Matthew Zarzar, Ben Fofana, Bill Tweway and former Bomi County Senator Richard Divine, among others.
