President Sirleaf Shows Gratitude To Healthcare Workers

MONROVIA, December 15 (LINA)- President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has thanked healthcare workers for their service to the country.

The Liberian leader who made the comments during visits to the Bensonville Health Center and the Crozierville Community Clinic in

Caryesburg District, lower Montserrado on Friday, December 12, presented healthcare workers at these institutions assorted medical supplies and drugs as a token of appreciation for their sacrificial services to country.

According to an Executive Mansion press release, during the visits, President Sirleaf assessed conditions at these health centers,
including constraints, and promised to follow-up on their requests.

At the Bensonville Health Center, the Offier-in-Charge, Lucius Bolleythanked President Sirleaf for the visit and appealed to her for an ambulance and a bus to facilitate their work at the health facility that is serving 45 communities and five clinics in the area.

At the Crozierville Community Clinic, the Officer-in-Charge, James Sumuwood, praised the Liberian leader for all she is doing for the country’s healthcare delivery system, and appealed for the renovation of the clinic which has not been given a facelift for a long time.
