OCL Highlights Plight Of Orphans

MONROVIA, December 18 (LINA)-The Executive Director of the local organization Orphans Concern Liberia (OCL), Amos Sawboh, is appealing to humanitarian organizations to assist in the up-keep of orphans.

Speaking Wednesday when he provided some assorted food items to 118 Ebola orphans and their relatives in Banjor, lower Montserrado County, Mr. Sawboh said it is necessary for orphans to be taken into family care than institutional care system.

He also disclosed that his organization is currently providing skills training for some orphans in the country to enable them meet the challenges of life.

He said though this venture is cost intensive, OCL has resolved to engage in helping orphanages to meet their humanitarian needs.
