ROBERTSPORT, November 29 (LINA) - Medical Teams International (MTI) has ended a three-day refresher training in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) for health workers at the Sinje and Damballa health centers in Garwula and Porkpa districts, Grand Cape Mount County.

Making the disclosure at the county Ebola Taskforce meeting in Robertsport on Wednesday, MTI representative Oretha Paye said the training is intended to upgrade the professional skills of health workers in the two health facilities in the wake of the Ebola outbreak.

She noted that besides the training, MTI has also provided rain boots, rain suits, gloves and Personal Protective Equipment (PPES) to health workers at the two health facilities to enhance their productivity.

MTI is an international medical organization that is partnering with the Grand Cape Mount County Health Team in containing the further spread of the Ebola virus.
