ROBERTSPORT, December 30 (LINA)-The Deputy Managing Director for Operations of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA), Darlington Tuagben, is urging chiefs, elders and zoes in Grand Cape Mount County to get involved in the protection of reserved forests.

According to the Liberia News Agency (LINA) correspondent in the area, Tuagben made the appeal Saturday in Robertsport, during a tour of the FDA local office currently under construction at the cost of 50,000 United States dollars.
He said with the total involvement of community dwellers, reserved forests will be protected.
The FDA deputy boss also noted that when the locals participate in the preservation of forests, they will ensure that no hunting takes place there.
He commended the FDA local staff and the county leadership for the cordial working relationship that has existed between them over the years
