BUCHANAN, December 31 (LINA) – The outgoing Senior Senator of Grand Bassa County and President Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate, Gbehzongar Findley, has assured citizens of Bassa that he will fulfill his campaign promises despite his defeat in the just-ended Senatorial polls.

Speaking to a cross-section of his supporters recently at his residence in the suburb of Buchanan “I stand before you to reaffirm my commitment toward the human resource development of our county. My desire is to see Grand Bassa become second to none and that is why my team and I will complete all of our ongoing projects and if need be we will undertake new ones,” Findley assured.
He further assured the people of Bassa that his quest for better health care, education, agriculture and empowerment, especially for women and girls, will not go down the drain, adding “I remain committed and ever supportive of our county’s progress and development”.

Senator Findley in 2005 won the senatorial seat for Grand Bassa County as an independent candidate and ascended to the post of President Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate in 2010.
