30 Marketers to Get 30-Day Imprisonment

About 30 marketers risk 30 days of imprisonment at the Monrovia Central Prison for allegedly attacking several Court officers include officers from the Police Support Unit (PSU).

Civil Law Court Presiding Judge Johnnese Zlahn informed the marketers in open Court that their failure to honor the court’s order that resulted into aggression against court workers was an affront to justice.

“We will probe all those who attacked our officers while implementing court order. Those that will be found guilty will be remanded at the Monrovia Central Prison for 30 days as provided law,” he pointed out.

Judge Zlahn’s decision to probe into the matter was reached after he met with both parties’ lawyers at the Temple of Justice.

The Civil Law Court presiding Judge adjoined hearing for Wednesday, saying, “All marketers should be in court at 2 Pm to commence the probes in this matter before the merit of this case can be look into as provided law.”

According court documents, the marketers have been advised on several occasions to stay away from a disputed property of the late Margret Stubblefiled, Administrator Rosewell Trinity and Madam Ma Bedu and children in the Jamaica Road community on the industrial Somalia Drive outside Monrovia.
