MONROVIA, January 13 (LINA) – Students of the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) will be well-protected against the deadly Ebola virus when they return to school in February, 2015, the Superintendent of MCSS, Benjamin A. Jacobs, has said.
He said during the Ministry of Information’s daily Ebola press briefing at the ministry Tuesday that the system is putting in place measures to ensure students’ safety in schools.
According to Jacob, there will be multiple hands washing at every bathroom entrance to help in the prevention process as well, adding “there will also be multiple thermometers at both private and public schools.”
He noted that seven to 10 thermometers will be available on every campus based on the student population.
He further said they will minimize school activities in order to avoid students touching each other.
