LNBA Receives Pick-up To Fight Ebola

MONROVIA, August 25 (LINA) -The Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA) has received one double-cabin pick-up for use in its public awareness campaign against the Ebola disease.

According to a press release, LNBA president Cllr.Theophilus Gould said the used vehicle was donated by one of its partners, who prefers anonymity.

Speaking at the commissioning of the vehicle recently, Cllr. Gould said the LNBA Free Legal Service and the Legal Education Committees will also use the vehicle to sensitize the public on the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution system to resolve simple matters to avoid going to court at this time.

He added that the two committees will also explain to citizens the legal implications of the State of Emergency and other regulations being introduced by government to contain the spread of the Ebola disease in the country, the release concluded.
