MONROVIA, August 25 (LINA) - The Vice President of the Liberia Council Churches (LCC), Bishop Kortu Brown, has admonished Liberians to adhere to measures instituted by government to contain the Ebola virus.

Bishop Brown explained that if Liberians adhere to the regulations and measures that government has put in place, the disease will be eradicated in the shortest possible time.

The LCC Vice President was speaking Sunday at the induction and consecration ceremony of the second Assistant Bishop and Executive Board Members of the United Church of God in Christ at the Victory Temple Church in the Monrovia suburb of Paynesville.

He noted that disobedience has engulfed the Liberian society over the years and has made people to disrespect authorities, as is the case of battling the Ebola virus in the country.

He stressed that Liberians should cooperate with government to ensure that the deadly epidemic, which is undermining the nation’s economy and development, is eliminated from the society.

Bishop Brown was represented at the ceremony by the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship Union of Liberia (PFUL), Rev Jasper Ndaborlor.
