HARPER August 28 (LINA) -The Carter Center has donated a consignment of basic sanitation and Ebola awareness materials to Maryland County.

The materials include three mega phones, several cartoons of chlorine and buckets.

Making the presentation Wednesday to acting Maryland County Superintendent Nathaniel Toe, the National Coordinator of Carter Center, Mr. Johnny Nolobe, said the donation was intended to buttress efforts to prevent the spread of Ebola virus in the county.

Receiving the materials, Superintendent Toe thanked the Carter Center for the donation which, he said, was as timely, noting that the citizens were in great need of them in the fight to prevent the virus.
