MONROVIA. September 1 (LINA) -The Assistant Pastor of the Philadelphia Central Church says it will take “God’s intervention” to eradicate the Ebola virus from Liberia.

Rev. Musu Harris said God will eradicate the deadly disease from the country if Liberians “turn from their wicked ways and obey God’s will.”

Rev. Harris made the revelation Sunday at a program marking the Annual Praise service of the Music Department of the First Assembly of God Church held at the church on Buchanan Street in Monrovia.

She noted that Liberians are “jittery about the Ebola virus, but have failed to realize that there is no sickness that God cannot cure,” emphasizing that the Ebola virus will leave Liberia when God intervenes.

She stressed the need for Churches in Liberia to come together and pray to seek the face of God because, noting, “It is only God who can save Liberia despite the support from the international community.”

Rev. Harris said it is unfortunate that some of Liberia’s partners are leaving the country, pointing out that “Liberia will rise more than before when the Ebola virus is eradicated,” and therefore urged partners not to turn their backs on the country.
