HARPER, September 16 (LINA) -The acting Superintendent of Maryland County, Nathaniel S. Toe, has warned cattle owners in Harper to immediately remove their cattle from the streets of the capital city.

He said it is not hygienic for animals to roan among human beings, especially at this time when the country is at war with the deadly Ebola disease.

He spoke recently in Harper when he received a consignment of sanitation materials donated to the County Ebola Task Force by the Maryland County branch of the ruling Unity Party.

Making the presentation earlier, the Secretary General of the UP's Maryland branch, Fred Batu, said the donation was intended to identify with the Task Force as it strives to prevent the spread of the Ebola virus.

It comprised 20 sanitation buckets, three cartons of chlorine and three cartons of power soap, among other items.

Meanwhile, Mr. Batu has called on the Task Force to fortify Karluway District since it borders River Gee County which already has four reported cases of Ebola.
