MONROVIA, September 19 (LINA) - The president of the National Association of Trial Judges of Liberia (NTAJL), James E. Jones, has urged judges to get involved in disseminating anti-Ebola messages in their respective courts.
He said unless Liberians agree to work together in the wake of the Ebola outbreak, the fight against the virus will be elusive.
According to the Liberia News Agency, Judge Jones made the call Wednesday on the grounds of the Temple of Justice when the NTAJL donated several dozens of hand-washing buckets and cartons of detergents to the various Courts in Montserrado County.
He urged Liberians to abide by preventive measures put in place by the government and its international partners to contain the spread of the Ebola virus.
Judge Jones has, meanwhile, promised to extend the association’s gesture to other courts outside of Montserrado County to boost their capacity to fight the virus.
The National Association of Trial Judges of Liberia is the umbrella organization of all judges assigned at the various Circuit Courts in Liberia.
