MONROVIA, September 21 (LINA) - The President of Youth United to Stand Against Corruption in Liberia (YUSCL) in Monrovia has urged Liberian youths to serve as ambassadors of anti-Ebola messages in their communities.

David Mulbah said the outbreak of the disease could make the future of the youths bleak if they fail to work with national government to succeed in the fight against the virus.

Mulbah made the statement when YUSCL donated five cartons of disinfectants and two dozens of hands-washing buckets to Fiamah and the ICA Communities in Sinkor respectively.

He said Liberian youths must take the lead in the sensitization process against the Ebola virus because they will be affected most if the crisis prolongs and disrupts national economic and development plans.

Receiving the items, the Chairmen of the two communities, Borbor Freeman and James Zulu of Fiamah and ICA communities respectively, thanked the YUSCL for the items and promised to apply them in their respective communities.

The Youth United to Stand against Corruption in Liberia was established on May 6, 2009 in Fiamah as an advocacy group against corruption in the public sector by a group of youths representing Fiamah, Matadi and the ICA communities.
