TUBMANBURG September 22 (LINA) - Plan International Liberia Bomi County Unit has donated over US$12,000 worth of materials to the Bomi County Health Team (CHT) in support of its fight against the Ebola disease.

The items include 130 rubber buckets, 80 bottles of hands sensitizers, six buckets of 45kg Clorox and 900 pieces of leaflets bearing Ebola preventive messages and songs, according to the Liberia News Agency.

Presenting the items at the weekend in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, the Plan Bomi Unit acting Program Manager, Alphan Kabba, said Plan remains committed in supporting the government to eradicate the Ebola virus from the country, adding that donation is an example of this commitment.

Receiving the items, the Coordinator of the Bomi County Task Force, Superintendent Samuel Foley Brown, praised Plan Liberia International for the items.

Brown said the items came at a time when the county health system is in need of such items.
