VOINJAMA, September 30, (LINA) - A prominent citizen of Lofa County, Alhaji G. V. Kromah, has commended President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for seeking the United States government’s intervention in the fight against Ebola.

Kromah, a professor of International Relations at the state-run University of Liberia, said the request by the Liberian leader to the U.S. government on the Ebola crises and the quick response from them is a clear manifestation that government is serious to kick Ebola out of Liberia.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Kromah made the commendation recently during a press conference he held in Voinjama City, Lofa County.

Professor Kromah called on all Liberians to join government in the battle against the deadly Ebola virus to ensure the country returns to normal.

He hoped the intervention by the US government and the international community will help eradicate Ebola in the country.
