MONROVIA, October 8 (LINA) - The opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) has appointed Montserrado County Representative Saah Joseph as Chairman of the party’s Ebola Task Force.

CDC Recruitment and Mobilization chair Mulbah Morlu disclosed that Rep. Joseph was appointed owing to his current role in the fight against the Ebola virus.
He told the Liberia News Agency that the CDC Task Force is currently working with its political structures in the counties to educate the people on the danger of the Ebola epidemic.

He said CDC partisans are volunteering their services to sensitize citizens about Ebola preventive measures outlined by the health ministry and its partners.

According to Morlu, the CDC was joining the Ebola fight to buttress government’s effort to eliminate the virus from the country.
