MONROVIA October 18 (LINA) – A team of missionaries from the U.S-based Tabernacle of Praise Church (TPC) has donated a consignment of food and non-food items to the Hope of Praise Church in New Matadi Estate in Monrovia for its membership.

The items include 75 bags of rice, 20 cartoons of Chlorax, 60 faucet-fitted buckets for hand washing and several cartoons of powder soap, among others.

Making the donation Saturday, Apostle Alfred Jackson, who heads the TPC in the U.S., pledged to work with the team of American missionaries to ensure that more foods and Ebola-related items are sent to Liberia to help the government fight the Ebola virus.
Receiving the items, Bishop Jackson G. Weah, General Overseer of the Hope of Praise Church, thanked the U.S. missionaries for the donation to his congregation in the wake of the Ebola epidemic.

Bishop Weah also said that the food and other items donated will be used for the intended purpose, targeting mainly those who are in need.
