SANNIQUELLIE, November 5 (LINA) - The County Health Team (CHT) of Nimba County has not recorded any new Ebola case over the past two weeks, an official of the Team has disclosed.

CHT head Dr. Collins Boah explained that the dwindling number of Ebola-related reports was welcomed, but stressed that caution must be exercised to avoid resurgence of the virus.

He spoke Monday when he briefed the Special Representative of the Secretary General, Karin Landgren, the County Ebola Task Force, Civil Society groups and others during a program for the visit of Landgren to Nimba County held in the Tubman Hall in Sanniquellie.

“It is still early to capitalize on the report. We must sustain the fight until repeated zero reports dominate,” Dr. Boah emphasized.
