VOINJAMA, October 6 (LINA) - The National Red Cross Lofa Chapter has donated food and non-food items to Ebola survivors in Zorzor, Voinjama and Quadou Gboni Districts in Lofa County.

The items valued at over US$2,000, are intended to buttress government’s efforts in identifying with Ebola survivors in the County.

Red Cross, Lofa Chapter Field Officer Joseph Vannie said Red Cross was also concerned about the re-integration process of the Ebola survivors into their various communities across Lofa County.

Materials donated included rice, palm oil, soap, Maggie cubes and sardines.
Vannie also disclosed that other Ebola affected Districts, including Kolahun and Foya are to benefit from similar gesture from his institution shortly.

He spoke Tuesday in Barkedou Town, Quadou Gboni District where he donated several food and non-food items to Ebola survivors in the district on behalf of the Red Cross Lofa Chapter.
