TUBMANBURG, November 11 (LINA) - Bomi County Superintendent Samuel Brown has lauded the Government and People of the United States for the construction of an Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) in the county.

Speaking in an interview with the Liberian News Agency following the dedication of the ETU in Tubmanburg Monday, the Bomi County Superintendent said the ETU will go a long way in helping the county in particular and the country in general to eradicate the Ebola virus.

He said the Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) in the county will be used to provide treatment for Ebola and other curable diseases for the people of Bomi, Cape Mount and Gbarpolu Counties.

Brown has meanwhile called on citizens of Bomi County to be more robust in disseminating Ebola preventive messages and to bring sick people to the ETU to afford them an opportunity to get early treatment in order to survive.

The ETU constructed by the U.S Army Ebola Response Team, has a100-bed capacity. “The construction of the center means our people have a place to bring their relatives and friends whenever they are sick”, Brown emphasized.
