MTI Donates To Three Clinics In Cape Mount

ROBERTSPORT, November 11 (LINA) - Medical Teams International (MTI), an international NGO working with the Grand Cape Mount County Health Team, has donated assorted medical equipment and materials to three clinics in Gola Konneh District.

The Beneficiaries are Clinics in  Than, Lofa Bridge and Varguage.

Making the presentation to the clinics recently, MTI Representative Oretha Paye said the donation was intended to help empower health workers in the three clinics to perform their duties with professionalism.

Paye told the Liberia News Agency that the items donated include 6,000 pairs of examination gloves, nine pairs of surgical gloves, 36 pieces of nose masks, 30 bottles of sanitizers, 36 pairs of shoe covers and 18 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), among others.

She pointed out that MTI has also provided training to health workers in Infection Prevention and Control to upgrade their skills.
