Senator Taylor Wants Bong Elect Visionary Leaders

GBARNGA, November 27 (LINA) – Bong County Senior Senator Jewel Howard Taylor has called on the electorates to elect a visionary leader in Bong County during the December 16 special senatorial election.

“Electing a visionary like me for the second time in the December 16 election will greatly contribute to the transformation agenda of the county,” she told  supporters during a campaign rally at the United Methodist Church compound in Gbarnga, Bong County recently.

The former Liberian First Lady said as a visionary leader, she initiated the vocational training of women and supported and drafted over 37 Acts and Bills, including creating the position of assistant superintendent for fiscal affairs in all counties, at the National Legislature.

Taylor promised to ensure that every child of school-going age is given the opportunity to go to school, adding that she will fast-track the completion of the Bong County Technical College.

Taylor told the youths to see themselves as her “heartbeat” for whom she will work when re-elected, adding “voting Senator Taylor for the second term means keeping your dreams alive.”
