VOINJAMA, December 24 (LINA)-Lofa County Superintendent George Dunor has described the media in Lofa County as key partners in the promotion of peace, unity, reconciliation and development in the county.

Dunor said the media has over the years played major roles in the reconciliation and reconstruction processes in the county as well as in the fight against Ebola in the county.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency in Voinjama Sunday, the Lofa County Superintendent also lauded the media for their comprehensive coverage of the senatorial election, noting that his leadership will continue to work closely with the media to promote peace, unity, reconciliation and development in the county.

On the phase two awareness on the Ebola virus to be shortly launched in Voinjama by the county authorities, Dunor has, on behalf of the county administration, pledged his fullest support to activities the media may want to venture into, especially in the fight against the deadly Ebola virus.

Meanwhile, media institutions in Lofa County have pledged their continued support to development activities in the county.
