GBARNGA, December 31(LINA) - Bong County Senator-elect Jewel Howard Taylor has promised the people that she will ensure proper use of the county’s resources.

Senator Taylor vowed that she will never form part of a system that will defraud the county of much needed resources intended to benefit the people of Bong and not those in authority.
She made the pledge when she appeared on the ELBC Super Morning Show Tuesday, which was broadcast live on Radio Bongese in Gbarnga, Bong County.
Senator Taylor said though she will be softer during her second term, she will not place the people of the county at a disadvantage by collaborating with those whose intention is to defraud the county of its resources.
She stressed the need for citizens to place the county ahead of their individual priorities and work together in moving it forward, adding “The recent Mid-term Senatorial race was a bitter one, but despite the odds, I hold no hatred against anyone who said evil against me.”

Meanwhile, Senator Taylor has expressed her ambition of becoming the next President Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate.
