MONROVIA, January 21 (LINA) - The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has arrested and sent to the Monrovia City Court two persons on charges of unlawful possession and sale of narcotic drug.

Dominic Tah and Mariama Kallon were arrested on January 16 when DEA agents headed by Major Abraham Payne searched their Benson and Randall Streets residence and found 0.3grams of narcotic drug valued at US$180.

During preliminary investigation, it was established that the defendants are drug dealers.

According to the DEA charged sheet, the two defendants admitted that they bought said drug from Freetown, Sierra Leone and that they have been in drug business for the past three months. Meanwhile, the two are currently facing trial.
