GBARNGA, November 27 (LINA) – The National Chairman of the National Patriotic Party (NPP), Cllr. Theophillus Gould, has threatened to expel partisans supporting opponents in the December 16 Special Senatorial Election.

He said supporting opposition candidates in counties contested by the NPP contravenes the party’s constitution and violators will be dealt with sternly by the party.

Gould issued the warning recently when he addressed partisans and well-wishers at the presentation of the party’s campaign message for the re-election of Senator Jewel Howard Taylor at the Methodist Compound in Gbarnga, Bong County.

He called on partisans to prove that Bong County is the political seat of the NPP by coming out and re-electing Taylor for the second term.
