Mr. Williams in an interview granted to newsmen today intimated that he has never had any interview with the People's Daily News Paper relative to the story attributed to him. The former LPRC Boss asserted that the story contained in the Paper is shamefully intended to blackmail and extort money from him.

Mr. Williams told reporters that he has contacted his lawyers to file appropriate action against the paper citing label should the paper not retract said maliciously cooked story in 72 hours.

Meanwhile, Mr. Williams reaffirms his confidence in the dynamic and outstanding leadership of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf - and has thanked her for the opportunity afforded him to serve his country and fellow citizens as Managing Director of the LPRC for five and a half unbroken years. "She is indeed a visionary and astute leader, Williams indicated.
