MONROVIA, December 10 (LINA) –The Monrovia City Court Wednesday charged a Nigerian businessman with unlawful possession and sale of narcotic drugs valued at US$5,484.00.

Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) officers arrested,  K.C. Henry Kamara, 30, a Nigerian citizen, at his Camp Johnson Road residence,  following a tip-off.

DEA officers found 41.9 grams of cocaine valued at US$2,514.00 and a chemical processor weighing 99.0 grams valued at US$2,970.00 in the home of Kamara at the time of his arrest, according to the Liberia News Agency.

During preliminary investigation, it was established that Kamara is a potential drug dealer, and was charged with unlawful possession of the narcotics, but he denied the allegation.

Meanwhile, Kamara is expected to appear at the Monrovia City Court for trial.
