Females Dominate Bomi Primary Schools

MONROVIA, Jan 2 (LINA) – Enrollment statistics shows that of the 10,995 primary school students in Bomi County for the 2012/2013 academic year, 5,524 were females, according to the Ministry of Education.

The Education Ministry report pointed out that 2,769 students were in the first grade, while 2,075 students enrolled in second grade and 1,946 students in third grade in Bomi County.

It also revealed that 1,593 students are in the fourth grade, 1, 488 in the fifth grade and 1,124 in the sixth grade in the county.

The report does not indicate the number of boys and girls in the various grades.
