MONROVIA, December 8 (LINA) - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is urging all Liberians to join forces and take community initiatives to make sure that Ebola is eradicated from the country.

President Sirleaf said community leaders should continue to work with community dwellers to identify sick people as quickly as possible so that they can be given early treatment.

The Liberian leader made the call at the Christ Kingdom Harvest Church in the Monrovia suburb of New Georgia Monday.

“The government will continue to stand by every community in the country to provide help for them, until Ebola is eradicated.” President Sirleaf assured.

President Sirleaf also wants Liberians to make a new commitment to the nation, their communities and friends by protecting themselves to ensure that Ebola is eradicated at all cost.

The program held in the community of New Georgia marks the launch of a new national campaign to unite Liberian citizens and communities to make sure that Ebola is defeated.
