MONROVIA, January 14 (LINA) –“When you do not bear fruit while in this chambers, you will be occupying space for nothing,” the Chaplain-General of the Liberian Senate, Michael Holder, told 12 new senators Wednesday.
According to Holder, people are elected to bear fruit, but when they inherit self-pride and ignore God they will not succeed, adding,” the more you try to avoid Him, the more you become less important and famous.”
Speaking minutes before the administration of the oath to the senators in the Senate chambers Wednesday, he indicated “life is more valuable if you continually leave a mark in your sojourn.”
“God wants you to bear fruit; that is why he said that all trees that do not bear fruit must be cut down,” he cautioned.
