MONROVIA, September 17 (LINA) -The National Bureau of Concessions (NBC) says it has extended partnership to other government institutions to make its work more effective.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency in Monrovia on Tuesday, NBC Communication Director, Zenu Miller, named the Governance Commission, National Investment Commission, Public Procurement and Concession Commission, Environmental Protection Agency, Lands Mines and Energy and all stakeholders involved in concessions in the country as its partners.
According to Miller, the initiative is to strengthen the institution’s coordination framework at steering and technical levels, indicating that the rollout of these structures is expected soon as consultations and validations are ongoing through the support of UNDP and USAID GEMS.
The National Bureau of Concessions (NBC) was established by an Act of the National Legislature on September 23, 2011.
It is primarily charged to manage concession processes and serve as a source of technical expertise in all aspects of concessions drafting, negotiation, monitoring, verifying compliance and strengthening the capacity of ministries and agencies that are engaged at various levels in the concessions granting and management process
