And so, as a mark of our gratitude to God, the Liberian Government is calling on the Liberian Christian Community to participate in Special Services of Prayers and Thanksgiving on Sunday, May 10, in all places of worship in the country offering thanks and praises to God, requesting His divine blessings upon the nation, and praying for the peaceful repose of the souls of our compatriots who died.
Similarly, the Liberian Government is calling on the Liberian Muslim Community to offer special prayers of thanksgiving and divine blessings for the nation on Friday, May 15, in all mosques across the country.
On Monday, May 11, the Liberian Government will host a National Thanksgiving Program at the Centennial Memorial Pavilion, beginning at 10am, where the President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf will formally receive the Declaration. This Program will offer chances for deep reflections, thanksgiving and celebrations.
Accordingly, the Government is pleased to invite all Liberians to be in attendance as we mark our collective victory over Ebola.
