According to an Executive Mansion release, Cabinet reviewed the 2015/2016 Budget performance and 2016/2017 Budget forecast.
The Cabinet also acted realistically in light of the economic stimulus package and objectively considered strategies for disbursing undisbursed funds for key donor-funded projects.
Meanwhile, Cabinet has also received briefings from the Ministers of Justice, Internal Affairs and Health on security related matters, prevailing disaster situation in Bong County and new cases of Ebola in Guinea.
Cabinet has accordingly mandated relevant ministries, agencies and commissions to coordinate and mobilize efforts and resources to bring short-term relief to victims of the torrential storm, which affected a number of communities and destroyed about 800 homes, as well as causing three deaths.
In a related development, Cabinet has been informed that a Memorial Service in honor of fallen Deputy Minister for Trade and Commerce, Cyril Afam Allen, Jr. took place on Thursday, March 24in the auditorium of a local hotel in Monrovia
Cabinet resumes next Wednesday, March 30.

MONROVIA, March 25 (LINA) – The Liberian Cabinet has taken critical national decisions following careful assessment and scrupulous review of the performance update on the state of the economy.
It has mandated appropriate austerity actions to maintain macroeconomic stability and approved the administration’s performance dashboard for priority projects.
