Senator Cyrus Provides Empowerment Packages To Citizens Of Lofa

MONROVIA, July 15 (LINA) β Lofa County Senator Momo Cyrus on July 10, 2024, donated L$6 million as an empowerment package for the women of the county.
The Lofa Lawmaker also donated US$2,000 dollars for the construction of the Konia market annex project and L$100 thousand for the rehabilitation of the Ansua Road Public School.
Also, Senator Momo provided the sum of L$50,000 to the Mamie Kennedu Women in Agriculture among others.
Speaking during the donation ceremony at his Capitol Building office in Monrovia, Senator Momo indicated that the gestures are in fulfillment of his promise made during the 2023 legislative election in Lofa county.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries lauded Senator Cyrus for the gestures, adding that they are not surprised of the lawmakerβs goodwill in the county.
The Lofa County Lawmaker during his victory rally promised to give one year' salary back to the people of the county to boost development initiatives.
