MONROVIA, June 20 (LINA) – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has accepted resignations from suspended Commissioner Osborne K. Diggs and James Gbarwea, former Board of Commissioners at the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA).

According to a statement from the Executive Mansion, the two officials in a separate communication expressed their profound gratitude to the President for his steadfast leadership in steering the country's progress and development and pledged their unwavering commitment to the ongoing investigation.

The former commissioners assured President Boakai of their dedication to upholding the highest standards of integrity and cooperation.

They promised that they would not be obstructive in any manner and would fully support the President's constitutional authority.

President Boakai expressed his appreciation and thanked them for their services to the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA).

It can be recalled members of the two Board of Commissioners from the LTA were suspended by President Boakai in April due to questionable financial dealings and controversy surrounding the US$4.6 Million headquarters project.
